Spring Break
Finally spring break is almost here. Well two more classes in two more days and I can say I’m on break. Thank God this semester has been a lot of work. College was easy up until this point. Seriously I don’t ever recall having this much homework in the 3 1/2 semester I’ve been at Columbia.
It’s blog this, read that. Holy hell I’ve never worked so hard in college in my life. It’s definitely a change of pace, but luckily for the most part I have things well under control and somehow I still manage to have some fun. After all I am taking a class on video games so I guess I can’t complain too much.
I’ve never really gone anywhere too exciting over spring break like Mexico or the Caribbean You know all those so called cool places MTV shows during spring break season. At best I’ve been to Cali over spring break, but other then that nothing spectacular. One of the better spring breaks I did have was my senior year of high school.
My cousin went to Bradley University down at Peoria. It wasn’t exactly known for its partying but I always had a good time down there. I par took in my first power hour, it was epic. I have to admit the best part of it wasn’t the drinking or the parties but where I slept.
Call me crazy, but I slept in an inflatable pool. No water of course. It was lined with pillows and blankets and I slept like a king. You would think with it being on a hardwood floor it would’ve been torturish but it was like sleeping on a cloud. I would do it again if presented with the opportunity. I’ve been down to SIU over spring break as well during my time in College.
They know how to party down there. I hope to have an awesome spring break next time around. Senior year I want to go out in style and go somewhere sweet over break.This year I plan to relax and head back home and hang out with some friends and catch up on work lord knows there is plenty of it.
