Adam Carolla Podcast

While figuring out what to podcast to listen to I came across one of my favorite T.V. personalities/comedians Adam Carolla. I’m a big fan of his work on the Man Show, Loveline and his short lived remodeling show The Adam Carolla Project on TLC. I didn’t catch him on Dancing with the Stars though, unfortunately Carolla is no longer on the Man Show nor Loveline for that matter and not living in California puts me at a disadvantage because I am not able to listen to his show.

But thanks to the creation of podcasts I can now listen to Carolla. Which is awesome. His brand of humor is right up my alley. For example during his show on TLC he reinvented the pool game of Marco-Polo and changed it to Adam-Carollla. Ballsy, but he can pull it off. I looked up Carolla’s podcasts on Itunes and I found a pretty good one. It features Bobcat Goldthwait. I look forward to it being a good hour of hilariousAdam Carolla nonsense.

So after listening to Carolla’s almost hour and a half long podcast I have to say I’m impressed. While I’m definitely a visual person I did enjoy listening to the Ace man for an hour and twenty minutes. Bobcat was an added bonus. I will definitely be listening to more of these in the future.

I wish I would’ve seen the Seth McFarlane interview before selecting this one, but that one will be for next time for sure. I’m sure it was as good if not better then this one. Adam Carolla is good for his rants and tangents.  I enjoy hearing him go off on this or that. For example one thing he was talking about how he got suckered into MCing a film festival because he was the host of an auction at his kids school. Needless to say he put a funny spin on how when he did the auction other people started calling up asking him to host one thing or another.

Interesting to find out during this podcast that CBS canceled his radio show. This was another subject he touched on during this podcast. It turned out that it wasn’t just his show that got canceled, but CBS pulled the plug on the station because of the economy. Someone moron wrote that his show was canceled because he had bad ratings. Needless to say that Carolla went off on this idiot. Quite funny. So I can’t say I’m missing his show because there isn’t one to speak of, well radio anyways.

I was only aware podcasting because the Cubs television broadcasters do one during the Cubs season. I have that one on my Itunes but never really listened to it perhaps I will this season.

Adam Carolla is the best uncensored. I’d definitely pay to see him do stand or perform in some capacity. I can understand why his podcast is in the top ten in Itunes. I wouldn’t surprise me if he could crack the top five or even challenge No. one. In the spirit of the Ace man I’m going to sign off the way he does. Until next time this is Brian Livingston saying mahalo.
